Alison graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 1996, furthered her studies and obtain her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University of Technology, Australia in 2000.

 

She started her career in Singapore General Hospital for 10 years before moving into private practice. She worked with clients from all ages and has helped rehabilitate many from acute to the recovery phase.

 

Alison's expertise includes treatment of back and neck pain, sports injuries, arthritic pain and post-operative rehabilitation. She enjoys her work tremendously and delights in being able to assist patients in their recovery. She advocates early return to sports and activities of daily living, and independence from therapy through proper patient education, activity advice and customized exercise prescriptions.

 

As an avid puzzle solver, she constantly seeks different approaches to solving patients’ issues which lead her to attend different courses to broaden her knowledge, skills and views. Her keen sense of touch and refreshing approach to treatment has lead her to help some of her chronic patients that did not respond to traditional physiotherapy treatments.
