Cheryl Low

Movement Therapist

As a netball coach and a competitive volleyball player, Cheryl witnessed her fellow athletes experience the struggle with recurring injuries and chronic pains. Inspired to support athletes and facilitate a holistic recovery process, she developed her passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation. This motivated her to pursue her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sports Science & Management at Nanyang Technological University.

With 2 years of working experience, specializing in the treatment of common chronic pains, Cheryl is well versed in Sports Massage and Movement Analysis. Her treatment philosophy is deeply influenced by the one of the Ten Movement Principles conceptualized by Gray Cook (creator of the Functional Movement Screen), specifically Principle 7: We should not put fitness on movement dysfunction. Hence, her training programs strongly advocate for the importance of correcting and developing client’s movement patterns in order to ensure one’s ability to advance in physical activities, pain-free.

As a sports enthusiast, Cheryl enjoys doing HIIT workouts and playing indoor volleyball. She’s also an avid animal lover, and is a proud mom to her hamster, GeeGee!
